They say love knows no bounds — not even Tinder’s location settings! Somehow, despite being outside each other’s radius, the app decided to work a little magic and brought us together.

From the very first conversation, it just clicked. We both knew right away that this was something special — the kind of love that doesn’t make you second-guess for a second.

Ash instantly won Hails’ heart with that kind, gentle soul (and a shared love for all things purry, furry and four-legged), and he couldn’t help but notice her warmth and caring nature that shone through in everything she did.

Before long, camping trips, adventures, and endless laughter became our normal. A few months in, Ash packed up life on the South Coast and moved to the Central Coast — a big leap that made our “maybe this could be something” turn into “yep, this is definitely it.”

Since then, we’ve explored the hills and hobbit-holes of New Zealand, attended many, many gigs, shared countless cozy nights under the stars and cruised the open seas.

And speaking of cruises — that’s where Ash popped the question! After an amazing dinner, we took a quiet walk on the upper deck, where between laughter and happy tears, Ash asked the question that changed everything.

Now, here we are — two souls who swiped right, laughed through life, and can’t wait to say “I do.”
